Wine Cork Designs was recently written about in an online Italian wine magazine in Italy and America called Wine Pass.  The article features five artists using wine and wine-related media to create works of art.  The media ranged from earth from vineyards, wine on canvas, cork art, bottles and glass, and photograms.

I wanted to share with you a very insightful and interesting TED Talk by Patrick Spencer of the Cork Forest Conservation Alliance.  He explains where cork comes from, it’s history, and the current state of affairs for the cork industry.  Spencer addresses the myth that the cork forests are in trouble and that there is a shortage of cork.
